WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our fellowship upholds the fundamental truths of historical Christian faith as expressed in the ecumenical creeds of the early church and the creeds and confessions of the evangelical churches borne of the Reformation.  We believe in:

  1. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments as the divinely inspired Word of God, written by authors chosen by God, without error in the original manuscripts, and our final standard of faith and conduct.

  2. The one true God existing as one substance and three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; who is the Almighty Sovereign and Creator.

  3. Our Lord Jesus Christ, fully God and fully human, who was born of a virgin and suffered death on behalf of sinful humanity, who was resurrected bodily and ascended into heaven, who is seated at the right hand of God, and who will come again in glory to judge all humanity and establish God’s Kingdom.

  4. The human state of sin since the fall, and salvation from sin only through the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  5. Salvation by God’s grace through faith alone.  Sinners are regenerated and sanctified by the Holy Spirit, who makes their salvation complete.

  6. The unity of all who are saved, belonging to the Church, the body of Christ.
